Al Sharpton is 100% Right; Update
By Rizzuto

Thu Feb 14, 2008 - Wow...I never thought I'd utter those words, but Al has hit the nail on the head with his analysis of the controversial decision on whether or not to sit the Florida and Michigan delegates at the Democratic National Convention. The irony of ironies is that one of the arguments being made is that stripping the states of their delegates would "disenfranchise minority voters" (where have we heard that before?)

Commenting on the so called disenfranchisement, Sharpton was quoted by the Seattle Post-Intelligencer:

"That claim, if true, should have been made many months ago before the decision was made to strip these states of their delegates, and, once the decision was made, it should have been vigorously objected to and contested by those who felt it disenfranchised voters," Sharpton wrote. "To raise that claim now smacks of politics in its form most raw and undercuts the moral authority behind such an argument."

I couldn't agree more Al.

Update: How great would this be?
