The Obamessiah is Questioned By Joe Mon Mar 10, 2008 - Has the media finally begun to question the redemption offered by Barack Obama? I'm watching the Colbert Report right now and Stephen Colbert seems be really pressing the Clinton talking points. He politely, but firmly, presses John Legend for substance beyond 'Yes We Can' and the need for 'Change'. John Legend replies with 'Universal Healthcare' and 'Ending the War in Iraq'. These two issues are certainly Obama's policies, but they certainly don't separate him from Clinton. The fact that Colbert even brings up if Obama has any substance is significant. I think we're seeing the media seriously question Obama's experience. You can watch the full interview. It is, to borrow use a military phrase, a target rich environment.

I am still waiting for someone to explain what kind of change he wants, or what he is in Hope of. If Obama's wife is to be believed then it will be a complete changeover from Capitalism to Communism, as explained in article written about her in New Yorker Magazine. In the article she states that people should not work for corporations, but go into fields like Social Services. the old Soviet Union slogan "Serve the State" was the first thing to come to mind when I read it. Also when your own campaign staff states publicly "The truth is that NEITHER of them are ready for that 3am phone call" in reference to Hillary's Red Phone ad, do I believe there is any future for this Country if he gets elected. |
