Video: China Celebrates Its Status As World’s Number One Air Polluter By Rizzuto Sun Mar 30, 2008 - I know it's satire, but it kind of goes to the heart of the issue of today's environmental movement. In the west, the environmentalists have become obsessed with our own contribution to some looming environmental disaster, all the while ignoring the fact that developing nations like China are churning out pollution at an astonishing rate, and will most likely continue to do so into the foreseeable future. If you doubt it, just look at the whitewashing China gets in Gore's Inconvenient Truth.

you know i keep telling people over and over again. even if man made global warming is true... were getting cleaner every year and china is getting worse. were not the problem. |
